I’m India. I’m an audio and TV presenter and producer. I tell stories about our fast changing world, spending time with people learning about their lives and getting under the skin of what makes us all tick.

I recently worked with a team to launch 28ish Days Later - a big new series all about the female body, which I conceived and presented for BBC Sounds and BBC Radio 4. Most recently I’ve been making multi-part narrative podcasts series for other broadcasters like The Guardian, BBC Studios and Audible. I’m also currently a regular presenter on the show Outlook on the BBC World Service, where I have the privilege to meet and interview many people about their extraordinary lives.

I helped launch and then co-presented the Guardian’s award winning daily current affairs podcast ‘Today in Focus’, with an incredible team. I also launched and created a series on mental health for the BBC which reached millions of viewers. For this work I was nominated as ‘Journalist of the Year’ at the Mind Media Awards in 2018 and for ‘The Georgina Henry award for Digital Innovation’ at the Press Awards 2018. I still consult media teams on work around mental health.

I also work with teams who are looking to launch or reshape podcasts, helping them think creatively about their content.

I’m always interested in new stories and innovative projects.
